About the Solicitors at Ormrods
Meet The Team at Ormrods
Geoff Ormrod
Geoff obtained his law degree from the University of Kent and after qualifying as a solicitor in 1977 began his practice in the City of London. There he gained experience in heavyweight commercial law and litigation. After a number of years in the city Geoff decided to return home to Lancashire where he has practised in partnership or as an employed solicitor ever since.
With almost 30 years experience there is a very little that Geoff cannot advise upon and, over the years, he has built up a number of clients who rely on him for all their legal needs.
Geoff has a keen interest in sport and information technology. The latter has led to him establishing a sophisticated sole practice in September 2003 which has grown into the current partnership of Ormrods Solicitors & Advocates.
Geoff is happy to accept instructions on any new matter and can be contacted directly on 01253 861032.
Michael Penny
Michael qualified as a solicitor in October 2001. Despite coming to the law later in life he has practised for a number of years prior to his qualification and has extensive knowledge in most areas of civil litigation.
Following his admission as a solicitor Michael went on to pass the exams qualifying him as a solicitor advocate. This means he is now entitled to represent all his clients in any court either civil or criminal up to and including the House of Lords.
Michael is also a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, the Employment Lawyers Association and Resolution.
